The National Roads Authority and Cork County Council will be launching the thirteenth book in the NRA Monograph Series on Tuesday the 10th December at 7pm in the Aula Maxima, University College Cork. The book will be officially launched by Dr Ann Lynch, Senior Archaeologist at the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. The book titled Generations: the archaeology of five national road schemes in County Cork edited by Ken Hanley and Maurice Hurley deals with the results from five separate road schemes, three of which were carried out by ACS - the N22 Ballincollig Bypass, the M8 Rathcormac/Fermoy Bypass and the N25 Youghal Bypass. ACS staff have contributed significantly to the publication and all previous staff who worked on these schemes are invited to the launch. Click here for further details on the event. Advance copies of the publication can be bought through wordwell books.
